Chronulator current source design

Introduction

This calculator performs design calculations for the meter-driving current source used by the ShareBrained Chronulator or in the PLD Designs-produced ChronulatorSMD.

The circuit can be analysed—by checking the range that should be available given a set of resistor values—or can be designed by asking it to suggest values to use to drive a specific meter at a maximum PWM, and with a desired adjustment range.

Note that the first two choices in the drop down list below are for the standard Chronulator and the second pair of choices represent the “new, improved” ChronulatorSMD.
