“Uncommitted” boards
NameDescriptionApplications
DIP uncommittedSimilar to a solderless breadboard in layout, this board has space for 0.3", as well as 0.6" wide DIPs. Sites for two capacitors (the 0805 site could also be used for a resistor) are on the bottom.Use to add in any 0.3" DIP-packaged component to your circuit, including such devices as DIP switches. End to end stacking can accommodate longer than 20-pin packages.
SOIC uncommittedMount a SOIC (0.025" lead pitch), up to 28-pins, on one side, or mount up to 3 SOT-23 packages, with up to 6 pins each, on the other side. WIthy careful planning many useful combinations of SOICs and SOT-23s can be accommodated as well by using both sides at the same time.Any IC which is in a 28 pin or smaller 0.3" width SO package, and/or 3/4/5/6 pin SOT-23s, and/or some 2-lead discretes (0402, 0603 and 0805 sizes).
SOT-23 uncommitted4 independant SOT-23 sites, each site has a position for a bias resistor at each terminal. Each resistor site is an 0805 SMD in parallel with an 1/8 W through hole.Mounts up to 4 SOT-23 3 pin devices such as bipolar transitors, FETs, diodes, regulator ICs, etc.
2mm to 0.1" transitionA dual row of 2 mm-spaced pads wired directly to 2 rows of 0.1 inch pads. Two of the boards can be used side-by-side to extend to as large as a 2×20 connector.Good for mounting salvaged metric components, including 2 mm pitch connectors.
SOT-223 uncommittedAllows the use of (medium size) SOT-223 packaged devices.Mounts up to 2 SOT-223 4-pin devices such as bipolar transitors, FETs, diodes, regulator ICs, etc.
LQFP-64Use with a 10 mm square body, 0.5 mm lead pitch LQFP package.Connect to a chip such as one of the 64-LQFP PICs.
LQFP-100A 0.40 mm-pitch, 100 pin Quad Flat Pack board.Connect to a chip such as one of the 100-LQFP PICs.
