Vehicle power in Li'lBoard page.
Model number: LB2.07.
Description: Allows connection to a car's battery (might use a cigarette lighter type plug wired into the board's terminals). Could also be used to receive power from a high current power supply.
Applications: Accept the nominal 12 V from a vehicle.
Features: Includes an ATO fuse holder, a reverse protection diode, and a power-on LED. Uses a terminal block for high current, safe connections, as well as a separate low current connection.
Key components: ATO fuse holder, screw terminals.
Restrictions: The low current output can be switched, however the fuse-protected high current output via the terminal block is not switched. The LED's current limiting resistor is sized for vehicle voltages (nominal 12 but more like 14 V): if a different voltage is used this might have to be changed, or the LED circuit can be easily disabled by cutting a small track at SJ2 (it can be repaired using the solder blob technique).
