Model number: LB6.03.

Description: A L'ilboard which houses an IR remote control receiver.

Applications: Use to receive the pulses from most “clicker” remote controls.

Features: A pulse stretcher is implemented to show the receipt of a pulse using an LED.

Key components: Sharp GP1UM28YK OR Vishay TSOP series

Restrictions: Expects 40 kHz modulation, but this seems to be the most common, nor does the actual frequency seem to be too critical. The Sharp modules are only available as a 5 V module, the Vishay modules can work on 3.3 to 5.5 V.
